The market at Farm on Ogden provides fresh Chicago grown produce at affordable prices, along with other grocery options. The market serves to bring access to healthy, fresh, and community driven foods.

Become a vendor at Farm on Ogden Market

What we are looking for:

  • Local items - prioritizing Westside and Southside community producers with relevant products.
  • Shelf stable products - honey, bulk goods, dried fruit, jams and jellies, pickled items, nut butters, grains, pasta sauce, baked goods, etc.
  • Refrigerated items - cheese, butter, eggs, juices, hummus, etc.
  • Organic and local produce.
  • Organic and natural products. Products free of artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, GMOs, antibiotics, growth hormones, etc.

 

Product Requirements:

Your product should have a clear label with item name, ingredients and what allergens the product may contain. Product should be retail ready. Product should be created in a commercial kitchen. Food products created in the home under Cottage Food Operation law will not be accepted as we do not qualify as a farmer’s market. Photos and samples are encouraged.

 

Produce Requirements:

Produce must be clean and free of dirt, sand, and bugs. Produce should be twist tied or packaged and marked according to how it’s grown – organic/not organic. Produce that does not meet these requirements will not be accepted.

 

Delivery of products

Our store is open Wednesday through Saturday 11am to 5pm. Please deliver within store hours or set up an alternate time with our buyer.

An invoice is required upon delivery.

Damaged products will not be accepted. Perishable goods must have a sell by date of at least two weeks past the date of delivery.

Our dock is located in the alley on the south side of the building. We load and unload products manually.

 

Payment & Pricing

You will be asked to fill out a W9 for accounting purposes.

We will follow the SRP as best as we can in fulfilling our goal of providing our communities with affordable products.

 

Samples

Samples are encouraged so that we can familiarize ourselves with your product.

If a product is not something we’d like to carry at the moment you may not receive a response. Please do not take this to heart, we will hold onto your information and revisit periodically.
